Sample Work

Past Projects

We have carried out on-site scanning of drawings at ESB, New Ross Power Generating Station. Some of the drawings were 40 inches x 120 inches. Next phase is to vectorise all the drawings in Microstation format.

e-Celtic has scanned a total of 1,500,000 drawings and documents throughout various projects for the ESB power generation stations and head office. Many of these were also drafted and converted to Microstation and Vectorworks formats.
We are involved with digitising around 10,000 engineering drawings of C.J. Falconer & Associates. The process involves the scanning and indexing of the engineering drawings and finally storing them on DVDs. The second phase of the project is transferring to the selected drawing format.

We are currently scanning operational manuals & related drawings of the plant machinery and processes for Guinness. These consist of various sizes & types of pages. Files come in ring binders, in which various A4 documents and A3 – A0 drawings are mixed together (some stapled or tagged) and are scanned in colour and B/W depending on the source, and then re-assembled back into the binders.

We have created a digital archive for Teagasc. The process involves scanning and indexing of approximately 5,000 engineering drawings and finally storing them on DVDs.

e-Celtic has built up a very strong relationship with Merck Sharp and Dohme, being responsible for all the mark-up work on their P&ID drawings. This includes standardising the drawings to MSD’s engineering guides, updating drawings with latest revisions, and creating drawings from scratch. File format is DWG (Drafting) and DNG (Microstation)
